Where to find St Charles Catholic Church, Rishton
St Charles church is situated on the corner of St Charles Rd and Station Rd in Rishton. We are closest to Junction 6 on the M65 and from there take the A678 into Rishton village centre, about 0.75 miles. Passing the cricket field on the right hand side you are approaching the Parish church of Saints Peter and Paul, with the clock tower on top. Opposite the Parish church is Station Road. So drive down about 300 meters and St Charles' church in on your left hand side.

Readers & Altar Servers
We are always pleased to welcome new Readers at Sunday Mass and to go on a rota to read about every 5 weeks. Why not give it a try? If you can help out, please contact Fr Farrell or Anne Yates, who will put you on a rota to read when it is convenient to you.

We also need more Altar Servers.

Gift Aid
If you are a taxpayer, please consider signing a Gift Aid declaration. Click here for more information about Gift Aid scheme.

The Magnificat
My soul glorifies the Lord
My spirit rejoices in God my Saviour
He looks on his servant in her lowliness
Henceforth all ages will call me blessed
The Almighty works marvels for me
Holy his name
His mercy is from age to age
On those who fear him
He puts forth his arm in strength
And scatters the proud-hearted
He casts the mighty from their thrones
And raises the lowly
He fills the starving with good things
Send the rich away empty
He protects Israel, his servant
Remembering his mercy
The mercy promised to our fathers
To Abraham and his sons for ever
